Job Description

Intelligent Consultancy, a award winning and leading financial advisory firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SME Loan Processor who will also be responsible for managing our sales team.

This is a dynamic and multifaceted role that requires excellent financial acumen, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, banks, and internal stakeholders.

As an SME Loan Processor and Sales Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing loan applications, ensuring timely approvals, and driving sales team performance.

Responsibilities:

Loan Application Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end loan application process for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
  • Review loan applications, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Collect and analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess the creditworthiness of SME clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather additional information and address any queries or concerns related to the loan application process.
  • Prepare comprehensive loan packages for submission to banks, including all necessary supporting documentation.

Bank Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with banks and financial institutions to facilitate loan processing and approval.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at various banks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of loan approvals.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of loans with banks to secure favorable lending terms for our SME clients.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and bank policies to ensure compliance and maximize loan approval success rates.

Sales Team Management:

  • Oversee and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Set sales targets and performance goals for the team, and monitor progress towards achieving them.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Develop sales strategies and provide training to the sales team to ensure they have the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively promote our loan products.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of excellence, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in loan processing and bank relationship management, preferably in the SME lending domain.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit assessment, and loan underwriting processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and banking professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, driving performance and achieving targets.
  • Sound understanding of the SME sector, its challenges, and financing requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
