Shipping And Purchasing Assistant
OVOL MALAYSIA SDN BHD• To follow up with all import shipping documents such as Tax Invoice, Packing List, B/L and
any other form declaration required.
• To follow up with shipping schedule with ETD/ETA details, then inform forwarding agent
and/or customers on the shipment status.
• To liaise with forwarding agent and customs department whenever necessary on import
duties of goods and arrange for custom tax payable, shipping documents, clearance and
delivery.
• At all times to follow up with forwarding agency regarding clearance of containers within
the time frame so as to avoid demurrage charges.
• To liaise with the accounts department for inward bank documents.
• To check schedule of arrivals at warehouse.
• To arrange documents and liaise with forwarding agent on all exports to East Malaysia.
• To attend to branch enquiries on stocks availability and follow-up on deliveries of branch
requisitions for stock transfers and notifications.
• To assist in all purchasing functions when required.
