Responsibilities
As a Legal and Corporate Development Executive, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic legal counsel and support to the management team on corporate and commercial matters
- Developing and implementing effective corporate governance practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assisting in the review and drafting of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Conducting due diligence on potential business acquisitions and investments
- Building and maintaining relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders
- Identifying and mitigating potential legal risks and liabilities
- Staying up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the business
- Providing training and support to the team on corporate development and legal matters
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field
- minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate development and legal matters
- Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law, including company law, contract law, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications relevant to the role
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
