Precision tool handling (micrometers, calipers, gauges), Mould maintenance and repair, Machining operations (milling, turning, grinding, EDM), Mould polishing and surface finishing, Reading technical drawings/CAD, Troubleshooting mould defects, Knowledge of mould materials and components, Welding and brazing techniques (TIG/laser – if required), Attention to detail, Time management and prioritization
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on moulds.
  • Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble mould components.
  • Diagnose and repair mould defects, including wear, cracks, and parting line damage.
  • Operate machining equipment such as milling machines, grinders, lathes, and EDM machines.
  • Use precision measurement tools to check mould component tolerances.
  • Polish mould surfaces to meet product finish requirements.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mould designs.
  • Maintain proper documentation of repairs, maintenance schedules, and tooling reports.
  • Collaborate with production and tooling engineers to improve mould performance.
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness in the maintenance workspace.
  • Able to communicate fluently in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin
  • Must have own transportation and a valid driving license
