Assistant / Bar Manager

Job Description
As a Bar manager, you will ensure that all customers are served as per GRID standards. Ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are consistently demonstrated within all food and beverage areas.
As a Bartender Boss, Mixologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by crafting and serving a variety cocktails and beverages. You will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, ensuring that our guests have a memorable time at our establishment.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all bar operations
• Support in creating and implementing standard operating procedures
• Take charge of bar operations in the absence of the Bar Manager
• Schedule shifts, assign duties, and monitor staff performance
• Maintain a friendly and professional atmosphere for customers
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback
• Collaborate with the Bar Manager to develop and update the beverage program
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and customer preferences
• Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering
• Assist in budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost control
• Analyse sales data and implement strategies to increase revenue
• Ensure accurate cash handling and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a bar or similar hospitality role
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of beverages, mixology, and industry trends
• Solid understanding of bar operations, inventory management, and cost control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions
• Proficiency in using POS systems and inventory management software
