Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive health and safety management system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on health and safety protocols and procedures
• Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain documentation, records, and reports related to health and safety performance
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to stay informed on health and safety regulations and best practices
• Monitor and analyze health and safety metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement sustainable solutions to improve health and safety performance and reduce risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in health and safety management in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in health and safety software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel to various locations for site visits and inspections
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
