BABYSITTER - JUNIOR/SENIOR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

● Provide attentive and compassionate care to newborns, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and soothing

● Monitor infants for any signs of illness or discomfort and report concerns to the Head of Nursing

● Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness of the nursery and infant care areas

● Follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for infants and staff.

● Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of infant care routines, feeding schedules, and any health-related observations.

● Provide support to new mothers on infant care practices and breastfeeding techniques

● Communicate effectively with parents about their infant’s progress, care routines, and any specific needs.

● Respect and accommodate parental preferences and cultural practices related to infant care.

● Work closely with other babysitters, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to postpartum care.

● Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous education programs to stay updated on best practices in infant care.

● Follow the center’s emergency protocols and communicate promptly with medical staff and parents.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

● Previous experience in infant care, nursery, or postpartum care settings is highly desirable

● Patience,caring, loving towards newborn infants

● Strong understanding of infant care.

● Excellent communication skill and able to handle multiple tasks

● Required to work including weekends and public holidays.

● Must be able to work in shifts and be on call for emergencies.
