Job Responsibilities
- Supporting and assisting the IT team in managing and maintaining computer hardware and software infrastructure to ensure smooth operations for our valued customers
- Troubleshooting and resolving computer-related issues efficiently and effectively within a supportive team environment
- Ensuring efficient maintenance of computer hardware and software, maintaining regulatory compliance with regards to your responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive support to end users, ensuring prompt and effective responses to inquiries and addressing their computing needs in a caring manner
- Participating in system upgrades and installations to keep the IT infrastructure at the cutting edge of current technology and industry norms
- Maintaining and updating documentation on all IT systems and procedures in a timely manner
- Proactively identifying potential IT improvements or issues and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency, to maintain the highest quality of service
- To manage the maintenance of Server application system, backup and disaster discovery.
- Manage and monitor the network hardware and internet line.
- Deal with users and ensure providing prompt response to their IT problems.
- Responsible for day to day interaction with users, service delivery of POS system support and operations by talking to computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter.
- Handle desktop & notebook computers, peripherals installation, upgrades and internal relocation.
- Assist in setup of desktop & notebook computers and installation of Standard Office Environment (SOE).
- Perform asset assignment, tagging and tracking on a periodical basis.
- Talking to computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter.
- Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Possessing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT field or equivalent experience
- Demonstrating 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT administration and support
- Exhibiting excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues
- Possessing a thorough understanding of PC hardware, server systems, Microsoft Windows/Office, and software licensing procedures
- Demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with team members and customers
- Exhibiting a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent customer support within a positive workplace
- A proven ability to adapt to changes in technology and industry standards
