HESQ (Health, Environment, Safety & Quality) Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• HESQ Management: know and comply with Yara’s HESQ Policy, Safety Principles, guidelines and HESQ standards, based on the Safe by Choice philosophy, as well as the applicable legal requirements.
• Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of HESQ process, based on ISO standards and Product Stewardship.
• Act as Safety Health Environment Committee (HESQ) Secretary as specified in the regulations.
• Support compliance with, and enforcement of, all relevant safety practices and procedures, including Yara HOPS/TOPS/Procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Execute actions and provide specialized support to HESQ processes, in accordance with the applicable HOPS, TOPS and Procedures, to ensure understanding, implementation and continuous improvement in related processes (Administrative, Commercial and Operational).
• Provide timely response and follow-up to requirements related to HESQ processes, in collaboration with other areas, departments and regions
• Assist in monitoring and executing any assigned tasks, as well as project improvement and implementation. Proactively improve and upgrade the local awareness and compliance to the best practice available in the similar industry.
• Work in collaboration with HESQ Manager, Operation Manager / Supervisors and Line Managers for HESQ related tasks
• Analyze, inform, and execute the HESQ processes related to management and continuous improvement system, data analysis, maintenance of legal and corporate HESQ documentation.
• Ensure analysis and monitoring of HESQ management system indicators. (Synergi-YMS).
• Conduct training and safety briefing to internal and external stakeholders using HESQ materials.
• Emergency Response / Crisis Management aligned with IMA site and HESQ corporate guide.
• Collaborate closely with HESQ community, across regions deploying safe by choice, contributing for improving process. Assist in transformation journey to elevate and comply with the newest standards as rolled out from Corporate HESQ, to reach our ultimate goal of Zero Harm.
