Job Title: Family Rehabilitation Physician

Work Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia (primarily providing services in a home setting)

Reporting To: Head of Family Medical Services

Job Overview:

Provide comprehensive physical therapy and rehabilitation services for family members by developing and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patient functional status and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

1.     Gather detailed patient medical history and perform physical examinations to assess motor function and rehabilitation needs.

2.     Develop personalized physical therapy and rehabilitation plans and adjust them promptly based on treatment outcomes.

3.     Utilize various physical therapy techniques (such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, heat therapy, traction, and exercise training) to administer treatment.

4.     Instruct patients on daily rehabilitation exercises and regularly monitor treatment progress and effectiveness.

5.     Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, rehabilitation therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive treatment outcomes.

6.     Document the treatment process and efficacy evaluations in detail, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

7.     Provide patients and their families with rehabilitation education, preventive measures, and guidance for a healthy lifestyle.

8.     Stay updated on the latest physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols by participating in regular professional training and academic exchanges.

Qualifications:

1.     Possess a valid medical license, with preference given to candidates holding qualifications in physical therapy or rehabilitation medicine.

2.     Have at least 2 years of experience in physical therapy or home-based rehabilitation.

3.     Demonstrate a solid understanding of physical therapy principles and rehabilitation techniques, with the ability to independently develop and implement treatment plans.

4.     Exhibit excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of interacting effectively with patients and their families.

5.     Possess a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork and be able to adapt to flexible working arrangements in a home environment.
