Job Responsibilities

● Administer medications, injections, and treatments, according to established protocols by doctors

● Deliver outstanding nursing care to postpartum mothers, whilst ensuring their safety and comfort

● Provide education and lactation counseling to postpartum mothers

● Implement strict hygiene and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for infants and staff.

● Perform accurate and up-to-date records of infant care routines, feeding schedules, and any health-related observations.

● Provide guidance and support to new mothers on infant care practices, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.

● Communicate effectively with parents about their infant’s progress, care routines, and any specific needs.

● Respect and accommodate parental preferences and cultural practices related to infant care.

● Work closely with other nurses, babysitters and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to postpartum care.

● Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous education programs to stay updated on best practices in infant care.

● Be prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to any emergency situations involving infants.

Job Requirements

● Hold at least Diploma in Nursing and possess a valid nursing license (LJM - Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia) in Malaysia

● Fresh graduates are welcome to apply / Experienced is an advantage

● Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, display a passion for continuous learning, growth, and professional development

● Required to work including weekends and public holidays.

● Must be able to work in shifts and be on call for emergencies.
