Job Description

- Develop procurement strategies and plans based on organizational needs, market analysis, and demand forecasts. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement requirements and create procurement schedules.

-Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on predefined criteria such as cost, quality, delivery, and reliability. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure consistent delivery of goods and services.

- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.

- Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure availability of necessary goods. Analyze inventory data, manage stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring that contractual terms and conditions are favorable and meet organizational requirements. Monitor contract compliance and resolve any contract-related issues or disputes.

- Analyze procurement data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Implement cost reduction strategies, negotiate pricing, and explore alternative sourcing options to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.

- Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor market conditions, supplier performance, and regulatory changes to proactively address risks and ensure continuity of supply.

- Gather, analyze, and report procurement data to support decision-making and provide insights into procurement performance. Generate regular reports on key metrics, such as supplier performance, cost savings, and procurement cycle time.

- Collaborate with internal departments, such as finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure alignment and integration of procurement activities with overall business objectives. Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement support.

- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the procurement process. Uphold ethical standards in supplier selection, contract negotiation, and procurement operations.
